Before becoming a licensed REALTOR®, I spent most of my time as a stay-at-home-mom, while also helping my husband manage our rental properties. It was through these experiences that I was able to develop and hone my negotiation, prioritization and organizational skills. As a mom and entrepreneur, I constantly had to fulfill others’ needs and solve problems. Juggling these multiple roles helped reinforce my drive for success and motivated me to become more efficient. Oddly enough, I found it exciting to continually utilize my creativity to find solutions that benefited everyone.
Having the chance to be a positive influence on such a personal experience is a privilege. It’s rewarding to know that I was a part in making someone’s dreams come true. I also consider myself people-oriented, meaning I enjoy meeting new people and learning about who they are in order to better serve them, and I find that being an agent provides the opportunity to indulge this passion of mine.
I spent most of my childhood in the Lancaster area, graduating from Garden Spot High School in New Holland, and raised my family here. Together, my husband and I have four grown children. As empty nesters, we like to travel to wherever it’s tropical as well as the Jersey shore. We own a beach house in Ocean City and I love it so much that I decided to extend my license to the area so I could help others find their warm weather getaway. When we’re not basking in the sunlight, I enjoy spending my free time cooking for my friends and family, traveling, dining out and wine tasting. We’re always trying out new recipes in the kitchen, some faring better than others. I love both of my home communities and try to show my appreciation for both through my work with relocations as well as my volunteer efforts with various local organizations.
